کچھ دور ہمارے ساتھ چلو
ہم دل کی کہانی کہہ دیں گے

سمجھے نہ جسے تم آنکھوں سے
وہ بات زبانی کہہ دیں گئے

پھولوں کی طرح ہونٹوں پے
اک شوخ تبسم بکھرے گا

دھیرے سے تمہارے کانوں میں
اک بات پرانی کہہ دیں گے

اظہار وفا تم کیا جانو
اقرار وفا تم کیا جانو

ہم زکر کریں گے غیروں کا
اور اپنی کہانی کہہ دیں گے

کچھ دور ہمارے ساتھ چلو
ہم دل کی کہانی کہہ دیں گے
