Mujhe aap kyun na samjh sake
ye apne dil se poochiye !
Meri dastaan_e hayat ka,
Hai warq warq khula hua,
Mujhe hmsafar b mila koi
…to meri tarah hi luta hua,
Kabhi manzilo’n se hata hua,
kabhi qafilo’n se luta hua,
Mujhe ik gali mai para hua
kisi badnaseeb ka khat mila,
Kahin khoon_e_dil se likha hua,
kahin ansuo’n se mita hua
