MeiN bhool jaouN tumheiN ab yehi munasib hai
Magar bhulana bhi chahouN tou kis tarah bhulauN

K tum tou phir bhi haqeeqat ho koi khawab nahiN
YahaN tou dil ka ye aalam hai k kia kahuN

Bhulaa na saka ye wo silsila jo tha hi nahiN
Wo ik khiyal jo awaz tak gaya hi nahiN

Wo aik baat jo meiN keh nahiN saka tum say
Wo aik rabt jo hum meiN kabhi raha hi nahiN

Mujhay hai yaad wo sub jo kabhi huwa hi nahiN
Agar ye haal hai dil ka tou koi samjhaye

Tumhain bhulana bhi chahouN tou kis tarah bholauN
K tum tou phir bhi haqeeqat ho koi khawb nahiN
