Yeh kya haal banaliya hai tumne apna
Ab os ka haal bhi tumhare jaisa ho
Yeh zaroori to nahi

Haari hai tumne bazi mohabbat ki
Zindagi ki bazi bhi haar jao
Yeh zaroori to nahi

Is pal mohabbat par bohot naaz hai tum ko
Ab har pal yehi dohrao
Yeh zaroori to nahi

Zinda reh kar bhi rasm-e-mohabbat ada hosakti hai
Ab mar kar hi yeh rasam nibhaou
Yeh zaroori to nahi

"kabhi kisi se mohabbat na karna"
aisi naseehat matt diya karo mujhe
jo tere saath howa, who mere saath bhi ho
yeh zaroori to nahi

Zindagi ke safar mai,
har mosaafir khowaab deakhta hai
Ab tera bhi khowaab poora ho

Yeh zaroori to nahi

ajiib tarz-e-mulaaqaat ab ke bar rahii

tumhii.n the badale hue yaa merii nigaahe.n thii.n
tumhaarii nazaro.n se lagataa thaa jaise merii bajaaye
tumhaare ghar me.n ko_ii aur shaKhs aayaa hai
tumhaare ohade kii dene.n tumhen mubaarak

so tum ne meraa svaagat usii tarah se kiyaa
jo afasaraan-e-hukuumat ke aitaqaad me.n hai
takallufan mere nazadiik aa ke baiTh gaye
phir ehatamaam se mausam kaa zikr chhe.D diyaa

kuchh us ke baad siyaasat kii baat bhii nikalii
adab par bhii ko_ii do chaar tabasare faramaaye
magar na tum ne hameshaa kii tarah ye puuchhaa
kyaa vaqt kaisaa guzarataa hai teraa jaan-e-hayaat

pahaa.D din kii aziiyat me.n kitanii shiddat hai
ujaa.D raat kii tanhaa_ii kyaa qayaamat hai
shabo.n kii sust ravii kaa tujhe bhii shikavaa hai
Gam-e-firaaq ke qisse nishaat-e-vasl kaa zikr
ravaayatan hii sahii ko_ii baat to karate

Tera naam likkha hai rait per ,Koi Lehr aakey mita na dey

Mein Udasiyan na saja sakoon kabhi Jism O Jaan kay Mazar pay
Na Diye jalein meri aankh mein ,Mujhay Itni sakht saza na dey

Meray saath chalney kay Shauq mein,Bari Dhoop sir pey utthaye Ga
Tera naak nakhsha hai moum ka ,Kahin Ghum ki Aag Ghula he na dey

Mein Ghazal ki shabnami Aankh say ,Ye dukhon kay Phool chuna karoon
Meri saltanat mera Fun rahey ,Mujhay Takht-o-Taaj khuda na dey
