Meri soch ka hi kamal tha,

Wo muhabatain Wo chahatain
Meri uljhanaoon ka hi jaal tha,

Mere dil mai theen jo ronakain
Wo tera hi husn-o-jamal tha,

Jawab jiss ka mila nahi
Wo aisa hi ik sawal tha,

Usse yaad kaise na kare koi
Usse bhoolna tu mahal tha,

Ab uss ki kia mai misal doon
