Humne kai baras aik sath guzare
Kai shamain,
kai ratain,
kai pal
Aik dosre ki humraahi me bitai
Kabhi sahiloon ki rait per chalte hoe
Chand ko apna humsafar banaya
To kabhi
Yadoon ki be amaan bunyadoon per
Taj mehal tameer kiye
Kabhi aik dosre ki khushi per
Bachoon ki tarah jhome
To kabhi
Aik dosre ki takleef per
Apne ap ko bhi bhadoon bana dala
Aise me hi najane kab,kase,kis moor per
Maine apna sab kuch usko sonp diya
Sab kuch!
Or phir achanak wo lamha bhi aan pohcha
Jab waqt k bereham hathoon k aage
Majboor ho ker
Hum bichar rahe the
Mager jate same bhi uski ankhoon me siwai ansoo'on k
Kuch nahi tha............Kuch bhi nahi
Maine buhat chaha k un ankhoon me
Palat ane ka jhota sahi
Per ik wada to talash ker sakoon
Un machalte honton se sirf aik baar wo iqrar sun sakoon
Jis k na sunne k ghum me
Meri samaaat aj bhi tarapti hai

Mere un-kahe lafzoon ko samjhe bagair
Or mujhe ik darde la dawa de ker
Wo shaks
Wo jan se payara shaks
Chala gaya
Halaan k
