وہ زندگی سے کیا گیا، دھواں اڑا کے رکھ دیا
مکاں کے اِک ستون نے مکاں گرا کے رکھ دیا
وہ راہ سے چلا گیا، تو راہ موڑ بن گئی
میرے سفر نے راستہ کہاں چھپا کے رکھ دیا
کسی دِیئے کی طرز سے گزر رہی ہے زندگی
یہاں جلا کہ رکھ دیا، وہاں بجھا کے رکھ دیا
وجود کی بساط پر بڑی عجیب مات تھی
یقین لُٹا کے اُٹھ گئے، گماں بچا کے رکھ دیا
