Unko tasavoorat me aane nahi diya
Halat ne ye lutf uthane nahi diya

Gam mere sath sath bahut door tak gaye
Sikwa magar Zaban pe aane nahi diya

Dastaar gir gai to gire sar to bach gaya
kuch behiso ko zarf khuda ne nahi diya

Tha kitna dil shikan teri yadoon ka marhala
Aankhon ko phir bhi ashk bahane nahi diya

Majbooriyon ne pao mein zanjeer daal dee
Hamne khusi se apko jane nahi diya

Mai khud hi apni rah ka pathar bana raha
Aisa nahi sath dua ne nahi diya

'shahid' meri saada dilo ne khabhi mughe
Aena doosto ko dikhane nahi diya.
