Fiza main jaisay koi khushbouon ka raqs jaaga hai
Sunheri titliyaan phir se gulaabon kay labon ko choo kar aayi hain
Darakhton ki khuli banhon main saye baat kartay hain
Udaasi ashak ankhon main liye ab door nikli
Isi dhaltay hue din ki mundeeron per
Chiraagh-e-shaam jalta hai
Tu dast-e-meherbaan jaise..

Meray aanchal kay konay se wafa ka aik lamha bandh deta hai
Meray sehen-e-hunar main hurf-o- maani ki talaawat saans leti hai
Koi roshan sitarah aasmaan per muskuraata hai
Samander geet gaata hai

Kamala-e-ahd-e-masti hai
Jahaan pe mausam-e-jaan bhi hairaan lagta hai
Koi chehra meray dil kay badan se aan lagta hai
Yeh hi chupkay se kehta hai?
