تیری اک نظر دید کا طلبگار ہوں میں
تو ہجر کی رت ہے کہ انتظار ہوں میں

سوچتا ہوں کس بھرم سے تمہیں مانگوں
بےمثل جہاں میں تو اور بے شمار ہوں میں

اک عذاب سکوت میں ہے میری جاں الجھی ہوئی
نہ دل کو قرار ہے نہ بے قرار ہوں میں

ہیں تذکرے بہار کے میرے پاس تو خوف خزاں بھی
جانے منزلوں کا راستہ ہوں یا کوئی دیوار ہوں میں

تم سے یہی گلہ ہے مجھے میں خود بھی خود کو نہ سمجھ پایا
میں کتنا نا سمجھ ہوں کتنا دشوار ہوں میں
